Manufacturing Technology

SAS products are characterised by high quality standards thanks to the use of state-of-the-art machinery and innovative technologies that enabled organising all technological processes in the form of manufacturing line.

KIMLA POWERCUT 2040 fibre optic laser

KIMLA POWERCUT 2040 fibre optic laser

Boiler components are cut on numerically controlled machines. The cutting process is performed on TRUMPF and KIMLA premium laser cutters. The laser cutting technology enables obtaining very high manufacturing precision, manufacturing rate and very high quality edges without the post-processing requirement.

Robot spawalniczy ROMAT 350

ROMAT 350 welding robot

The use of state-of-the-art welding robots increases the manufacturing performance and significantly improves the quality of connections. An important advantage of robot welding is manufacturing repeatability, which is difficult to achieve with manual welding. Constant quality control of welds and product tightness guarantees reliability and failure-free operation of boilers.

Centrum gnące Salvagnini P4 lean

Salvagnini P4 lean bending machines

The Salvagnini automated bending machine guarantees high quality bending and enables more complex operations, while optimising the manufacturing process. Automated bending operation ensures the repeatability of the components of the outer casing of the boiler.

Komora śrutownicza

Shot-blasting chamber

Boiler components (e.g. fuel hoppers) are subject to the abrasive blasting process in the shot-blasting chamber. This operation enables preparing workpieces for the subsequent process — painting.

Powder-coating system

Powder-coating system

The external parts of our boilers are powder-coated. This process results in very good anti-corrosion properties of steel and increased resistance to mechanical damage, while maintaining the aesthetic qualities of the product.

Testing laboratory

Testing laboratory

The introduction of every new model of the boiler to the manufacture begins from the design, followed by many hours of testing of the heat exchanger. The construction department of SAS owns a laboratory with test benches for testing heating units up to 1 MW.
